Andrea Abreu
Typeface: Founders Grotesk

Brief: Andrea Abreu Lopez is a canarian writer and journalist, internationally known for her best-seller novel "Panza de Burro", translated in 11 languages and sold in over 50,000 copies. The main goal of the project is to create a strong and cohesive visual identity that reflects Andrea Abreu's rhythmic style, literary hybridity, and experimentation, as well as the distinctly social and cultural context of the Canary Islands. Despite the use of grotesque and dialectal language, the identity should convey a deep sense of research, professionalism, and dedication, sparking interest among visitors to the online platforms.
Concept: Starting from the concept of Rhytm, I developed a brand identity that matches with the peculiarities of the authoress, who became famous for the beat of her hyperrealistic and grotesque style, written using the canarian dialect and settled in an athlantic-latin context.
